If you’re in a season of transition, uncertainty, or starting over, this will help you understand it—and move forward with clarity and confidence.

There are seasons in life that don’t make sense while you’re in them.
Seasons where what once felt stable… isn’t.
Where the path forward feels unclear.
Where you quietly wonder:
What now?
I found myself in one of those seasons a few years ago.
I call it the In-Between.
What Is the In-Between?
The In-Between is the space between what was and what’s next.
For me, it came when my career unexpectedly ended—twice.
At the time, it felt like something had gone wrong.
But looking back, I see something very different:
I had completed that chapter.
And something new was waiting.
Your In-Between May Look Different
It might be:
The end of a relationship
An empty nest
A loss
A health shift
The end of something that once defined you
Different circumstances.
Same feeling.
Uncertainty.
Disruption.
Disorientation.
What I Didn’t Know Then
I didn’t know how important that season would become.
I didn’t have a roadmap.
I didn’t know how long it would last.
And that’s one of the hardest parts.
Because we want timelines.
But some seasons…
take time.
The Questions That Show Up
In the In-Between, fear can get loud.
One thought followed me often:
What if I make the wrong choice?
When you’re younger, you believe you have time to fix mistakes.
Later in life, you start to wonder:
Do I even have time to make them?
That pressure can keep you stuck.
The Emotion No One Talks About
There was sadness too.
But I learned something important:
It wasn’t weakness.
It was grief.
I was grieving the life I thought would continue.
Until I acknowledged that, I couldn’t move forward.
What Changed Everything
At some point, I stopped trying to rush through the season.
I gave myself space.
And something surprising happened:
I started to breathe again.
I began to hear myself again.
My hopes.
My dreams.
My “what ifs.”
The Truth About the In-Between
The In-Between is not empty space.
It’s a classroom.
It teaches what success never had time for:
patience
perseverance
perspective
courage
The 4 Lessons That Changed Everything
1. When life calls—answer
Sometimes what feels like an ending is actually completion.
Your assignment is done.
And something new is waiting.
2. The In-Between is where you grow
It’s where you prepare for what’s next.
It’s where you decide what still belongs in your life—and what doesn’t.
3. Becoming who you’re meant to be requires letting go
Not everything that carried you here can go with you there.
Old beliefs.
Old expectations.
Old versions of yourself.
Growth requires release.
4. It begins with a small yes
The next chapter doesn’t begin with one giant decision.
It begins with a step.
A willingness.
A quiet “yes" and when it doesn't quite feel right,
the permission to say, "no thank you".
The Most Important Discovery
In that season, I met the woman God created me to be.
Not someone new.
The best parts of me that had been there all along.
I just needed the space to rediscover her.
I Realized the things I loved didn’t disappear.
I still loved:
solving problems
encouraging people
helping others succeed
I didn’t need a new identity.
I needed a new expression of who I already was.
Your Encore
If you’re in an In-Between right now, hear this:
Your past has prepared you for what’s next.
Every lesson.
Every loss.
Every victory.
It’s all there for you to draw from.
And More Than That…
You are still needed.
There is still purpose in your life.
There are still people you can impact.
There is still a reason you are here.
This Is Your Encore.
A new chapter.
A new season.
A life that fits who you’ve become.
And more importantly:
A life that blesses others because of what you’ve lived.
Final Truth
I’ve come to believe this deeply:
Some seasons don’t end you.
They introduce you.
The In-Between is where:
your eyes adjust
your wisdom grows
your identity is rediscovered
And I truly believe…
it’s where your best life is waiting.
If You’re There Right Now
Don’t be afraid of this season.
Some of the best parts of you may still be waiting there.
And if you’re not sure what comes next…
I got you.
If this resonated with you, I’d love to connect.
This is the work I do—helping people navigate the In-Between and step into what’s next with clarity and confidence.
